My suggestions: 1) Both irises have the same texture. That is simply not true in real life, and thus the eyes look rather artificial, even though nicely colored. (Yes, 90% of the images in the gallery have the same fault, but if you are making your own map, you can do it right.) Also the lighter area inside the iris should be opposite the highlight, and slightly larger (lens affect). 2) You might consider toning down the bump map, especially on the lips, but the skin is also showing a bit too much grain. Make-up fills in pores, and evens the skin-tone. She is wearing 2, maybe 3, layers of lipstick, and that fills in cracks, too. 3) The eyebrow texture is very good (something which is quite hard for most people), but it seems that you flipped it horizontally to do the other side. You might want to change a few hairs. The inner third is the giveaway. 4) AS Tasmanet says, adjust your face camera to a longer focal length. 110 is considered "portrait standard" by the professionals, but you can swing a bit to either side depending upon your subject. You have made an interesting and arresting texture (and I usually don't like "goth"), but these finer points should make it better. Hope that this helps! Carolly
Ahhh...good points...didn't stop to think about having the eyes and eyebrows exactly the same being something to consider. Ditto on the focal length and the lips. Is this considered violent? LOL...does the eye makeup look like blood? Another thing I didn't think about. It's actually butterfly wings. Great advice.....thanks again!
Ok, I'm gonna add my 2 cents worth (well, it's not even worth that, but hey...LOL) I personally like the make up in the first picture better. (The second one is good too, just red is one of my favorite colors!) It's looking really good though Puca! :)
Remember...getting lost is the senic route to the eventual destination. (And a lot prettier than the straight road)
I prefer the red lipstick to the green, but would keep it smoother like the second image. But the eyes look more interesting and more real now. Also, you seem to have added some expression. The first image is almost masklike compared to the half-smile of the second. It is subtle and very nice. Adds personality. Good going! Carolly

My question is, I just created my first face texture, top to bottom. Been working on it for a few hours, so I can't look at it objectively anymore. Was hoping some people might have suggestions how it's going...something looks off to me, but for the life of me I can't figure out what.....
Also, any lip tricks? They look so stretched to me......
Thanks!
Puca
