Hi, i am a begginer at Poser. I have to Poser 4 pro pack. Could someone tell me how you conform clothes to characters. I can do it only if I use the standard p4 women but other characters, it gets patchy. thx

Select the clothing, go to the figure menu, hit "conform to" then select the figure you want to wear the clothing from the dropdown list.

When you have problems making the clothing conform to different characters, there's a program called Tailor in the store here that is supposed to fix that. I'm still testing it out so I can't say much. It does have wonderful reviews.

Tailor makes morphs in the conforming garment match morphs in the figure, but it won't make a garment for Victoria work for Posette for example. It's good because if you morph a character to have a different hip shape, for example, you can use tailor to make the clothing match.

joints and centers of the body parts are different for different character, say vicky and p4woman. Cloths made for p4woman cannot use for vicky

Do you have the newest updates for Pro Pack from Curious Labs? You need to download them and install them if you don't. Also when you try to conform a piece of clothing for the regular P4 female to a character that it wasn't intended for you will have a problem. Tailor will copy morphs from the character to the clothes for the character the clothing was intended for as well. Hope this isn't too confusing. Marque
