Subject: Don't toss those crappy photos!

Have you ever gotten photos back and thought, "what a waste of film!" or use a cheap digital camera (and thought it was a good digital camera...)

you may not be able to salvage the photo but you sure can create some works of art by manipulating the pixels in Photoshop.

Here is a "really crappy" photo using a cheap "toss away" digital camera

Now i've manipulated some of the pixels and adjusted the color through the HUE and SATURATION dialog box and created multiple layers, adjusting the BLEND MODEs.

Now i have a digital painting instead of a "crappy photo"

but of course..............but of course........i like this.....and i dunno abt others.......but this is exactly the sort of stuff i like doing......

Heh I do the same with "crappy" images that I take of myself with my digital camera. Like the attached pic.. all I did was invert the image ( and added some text - its for my livejournal image ). Look into my eyes.. I wish I had contacts like that.
