does anyone know these files and if they can be converted to obj or 3ds? cpp,pbo,p3d

cpp = Open GL code Not sure what pbo is, obp is Bryce p3d I think is from one of the 3d home design packages. Anything can be converted to 3ds or obj if you can find the software to convert it. I have no clue at all what can read these though. Sorry

For converters and more file format explanations. Try these two sites. http://www.okino.com/conv/filefrmt.htm http://www.vrml.org/vrml/vft.htm From what I've found out just, cpp is a bitmap graphic format read by OpenGL applications so I doubt that can be converted to a 3d model.

actually, corel Trace will turn any bitmap into a vector graphic. Corel Draw will save a vector graphic into 3ds or dxf formats. can be done to turn a jpeg into a 3d object. to test it, I rendered posette, saved the image and did the trace, woulnd up with really nice vector graphic of her that I was able to edit the mesh in max afterwards. might be other apps to do the same thing.

oh, and cpp can also be a c programming language file. just as obj can.

Yes, I was informed of the C programming file after I posted, my wife got upset with me that I didn't remember that. Apparently it also stands for Certified Protection Professional, but I figured as the question was 3d related that the OpenGL graphic was more suited. :) Didn't know about CorelTrace, thanks for that information I'll take a look at that later and see what Corel claim about it. :)
