Both work well but I still like the original, the background seems to set the foreground apart more & lets the eye focus on the subject.

Sorry to people if you have seen this shot in the gallery. Its an attempt to add the feeling of sound to my picture. Now I posted it to a friend and he says I should tone the background down.
