Subject: what do you crowd think?

Sorry to people if you have seen this shot in the gallery. Its an attempt to add the feeling of sound to my picture. Now I posted it to a friend and he says I should tone the background down. I have had a fiddle which one do you crowed think is best, or should I do something else with it?

Great design. Looks like it should be a poster for a music festival.

Both work well but I still like the original, the background seems to set the foreground apart more & lets the eye focus on the subject.

They are both great, wonderful idea for a poster. Think I choose the original. Really like the notes that float over the image. You can almost hear the flute tones.
