A lot of these plants and flowers are Vue, but several are Plant Studio. I saw the thread below, and thought people might like to see that they do quite well in Vue. The are not as realistic as the Vue plants, but if you mix them in they look OK.

The fairies are Poser Vicky2 with the fantasy wrap and the universal wings that are free in Daz3d free stuff archive. The butterfly is by Geralday and downloaded from here.

Very nice, Carol. But I don't agree with you. PlantStudio flowers looks very realistic. You just have to remap them inside Vue with a more realistic material, especilaly because Plantstudio flowers have too green leaves. You can get out great effects! Guitta

Nice springtime image, Carol! And I agree with Guitta...PlantStudio models can be very realistic. It really all depends on the materials applied to them. :)

Thats really something to look at. I think the flowers look beatiful even without remapped textures. But that surely is a good idea to try out. Maybe Ill make some textures myself from some flower pics. You get some really nice closeups at google.coms picture search - I bet I can do some nice leaves from some of them. Stefan

Thanks folks. I shall have to play with that a bit. I did try toning the leaves and stalks down a bit, but making textures to fit the leaves is beyond me. I know how to alter existing textures, but starting from scratch is more than I know about. sig6.gif

Silly me, I should have mentioned this earlier. Follow the link to reach my tutorials for creating Vue materials for PlantStudio models. It's really not as tough as it might seem. :)

Thanks Varian. I shall try those. sig6.gif

And here is a tutorial how to share PlantStudio plants and how to change existing or create completely new plants in PlantsStudio.

Guitta,

Thanks for the tutorial on this...I had a little trouble getting to it. Your link off this main page is directed at a pstudio.3.html page which gives a 404 error. The correct page is at pstudio3.html

Sorry to butt in - just can't help being a web designer....

Christine :)

Thanks Christine. I have repaired the error immediately Message671414.jpg. Guitta
