Seems like it's been a year since I last communicated with Render in general, and Photo Forum and Gallery in particular (but it's been just 2 weeks)... Nice to post something again..!

So below is a sampler for a new work of mine that is posted to the Photo Gallery, and the link to it is above...

The work is derived from a radiogram that me and a friend who is a radiology technician were able to shoot using two Cyprea shells that I had found several years away.

Enjoy... :)

As I said in the gallery, this has such beautiful, clean graphic lines! Less is more, and it is great! Thanks Doruk, and welcome back...isn't it funny how 2 weeks can sometimes feel like two years? I guess that means we are living life to it's fullest! :-)>

I like this nice and simple and very imaginative in the framing. a pleasing overall soft effect. If you have a flatbed scanner you can scan objects like these shells with it , might give you some nice effects. :o)

Dear people, thanks for your responses..!

Dear Mysnapz, you may like to visit my gallery and see for the works under the names of...
..."Spiral Array",
..."Rest of the Echinoderms - 03",
..."Rest of the Echinoderms - 02",
..."Rest of the Echinoderms - 01",
..."A scanner is a many splendoured thing - 02",
..."Textures and Crops - 03",
..."Textures and Crops - 01",
..."A scanner is a many splendoured thing - 01",
...and "Spider-in-the-jar, Episode 1...", all listed in reverse chronological order.
I know, this rather sounded like "promotional", but what you'll see are what you've advised, and you seem to share my excitement about "shooting scanographies"..!
I'm thankful for your interest, and if you also have experimentations as such, please share them with us..! :-)

Cheers everyone...
