Look in the freestuff here, ther's a few of them. Also, several 3d sites have building models of the same kinds of buildings in .obj or .3ds or other formats that can be imported into poser to build your own environments. Also, background pictures can be used as environments-type settings. Someone here at Renderosity has a backdrop in Freestuff similar to the one Nerd sells, but this one is free. You can use textures for that as environments, too. There's lots of free alternatives....

Graphon's excellent site Elite-Expressions.com has tons of free downloads. Among them are his free "Environments" series that I've used a lot. While you're there, check out his forum, as he's posted info on getting better use from them there recently. He's also set up to accept PayPal donations to help cover the bandwidth of all his freebies. Not required, but a nice thing to do.

I have seen a really cool thing called downtown...but it costs money...I have no money...Does anyone know where I can download enviorment type thingies(similar or completely different to the Downtown thing) for poser for free?
