to everyone who has expressed their concerns to me in private and in the forum. It does mean something to me. My father got a litle better today. They took out a lot of thee tubes pumping air ito his system, and he's breathing on his own accord, tho the air is being put in his lungs, he is breathing the air put in on his own. They lowered the sedation a bit, so he's no longer in the comatose state anymore. And two things happened today that proved he could hear me when I came in. One, he was able to lift his leg up and put it down when i told him to, twice. That, and I told him to "quit being such a bastard to the doctors. When they change the tubes and everything on you, i know it sucks and it hurts, but let them do their job, and you'll get better all the faster." He was always fighting the doctors, even when sedated. Tongith, he was much calmer, and he was more conious than he's been in the past few days, so he was calmer on his own accord. Things are starting to look up a bit now, hopefully it will continue to get higher. Im currently in saskatchewan right now, so I'm now an hour behind Rosity time instead of an hour ahead. anyways, many thanks again to EVERYONE who has expresswed their concerns to me. It's nice to hear your Dad is on the improve a bit Slynks, I wish I had relatives like you around when some of my patients fight with me! Mind you I always thought it was a good sign when people did that, if they fight with the medical staff it usually means they'll fight what's ailing them too. My thoughts are still with you and your Dad...like bon said, keep strong...
