thought i'd do the polite thing and stop skulking and intro myself. me: i'm in the uk and am new-ish to photography...only partly serious during the past year. been shooting mainly b&w and have alot to learn!!! photographic equipment: canon eos 300, minolta xg1 (in need of a service), mamiya dsx1000 in need of a serious overhaul..lol) fave photographers: none who have influenced me greatly but i like photos by jeanloup sieff, bob carlos clarke, horst p horst, gabriele basilico and eugene atget...varied!! digital or traditional?...i'm not fussed...but doing a b&w print in a darkroom definitely gives me a BUZZZZZ!! oops just noticed it's a long post...sorry

Welcome Firestorm! Sound like you have a fine stable of cameras. Feel free to speak up or post a picture at any time. We don't have any posting-length limits, so don't worry about that at all. Sue

Hi Firestorm and welcome, I'm a bit new here myself and from the UK. As L8rdaze said a great bunch of people here, they have realy given some great advice.
