Using Bushi's baby with conforming baby clothes, and Fairy woods textures (thank you both)I'm having a hard time covering the entire shirt. Need help.

Best thing to do is e-mail bushi about it if part of the shirt isn't on the texture map.

Sorry, where did you get the conforming baby clothes? They look really nice and I need some for a project I'm working on, at school. Thanks

Bushi's site is http://bushi3d.com/ and Fairy Woods is http://members.xoom.com/renapd77/

Rita, one way to tell if its not on the texture map is to open it in PSP. Just open it as an image and look at it. I don't know what the template looks like, but generally they are 'planar' so you will be able to see if it 'looks' like a 'flat' baby shirt-it will have a front and a back (its good practice anyhow to look at them--I like to see what other people do for their textures). I'm assuming you got the textures from Rena. She had them on her site, but I haven't dled them so can't help you there. If they don't look right, I'd email her rather than Bushi since I don't think he did any textures, did he?? Diane B

I was going to dl it to look at the template but I'm having connection problems today--only on at 28800 and the tech people say its between 'here' and 'there'. It was fine this morning, so maybe tonight and I'll check it out. I did see that he had one texture but don't know if its this one or you're using one of Rena's--I suspect Rena since there is a diaper texture too. Diane B

Looked at the textures in PSP and they look fine. Bushi had one shirt texture but used Rena'stexture and Bushi's template. Have something to check out. Rena's only has one heart and this one has 2. It looks as if it might have twisted. I originally had to scale the shirt several ways to fit the body so that might have something to do with it. will let you know.

yes, something is wrong. Did you use the 'morph' dials for the wrinkle by chance? I looked at Rena's textures and there is one heart on the front. Also--look at how the diaper comes up over the shirt--in her pic, the shirt hangs over the diaper. I'm suspecting that is the problem-the trying to conform it. I'd start over with it and be sure you don't use the morph dials, just the regular dials (but not having seen it, I don't know how Bushi has it set up). Diane B

I just tried out this texture and it worked fine. I'm a little puzzled by the area that is showing up colored blue in your image since I don't see that in the textures. The shirt is a basic tank-top so the neck area isn't part of the shirt or the texture. Here are some things to check when you apply the texture. Make certain that you're appying the right texture and bump map to the correct figure. There's a texture and bump for both the shirt and diaper in Rena's WINZIP archives. From your image it looks like that's OK but you should check it anyway. When you apply the textures, make certain that you have the "Changes apply to entire figure" box checked. This can cause odd results if not set correctly. The wrinkle MTs shouldn't cause any of the problems you're having if the texture is applied to the shirt properly. If you still have problems figuring out what's going on, send me a WINZIP archive of the .pz3 as you have it set up now and I'll take a look at it.
