Sorry.. I am sure this question has been answered before, but I am not able to pin down exactly what to do from the posts I have sorted through so far. The pic above shows the default victoria 2 character on the left and the Ailin morph for Victoria on the right. As you can see Ailin's legs are longer and her hips and buttocks have been altered from the original. I am having one heck of a time getting any clothing to work on the Ailin model. The Victoria 2 bikini bottom fits like a box I have tried rescaling, morphing and otherwise messing with the clothing item, but its like that bottom won't significantly change from its original shape. I really liked As Shanim's lion cloth (pictured in lower pic). I assumed I could just reshape it with morph dials to fit her, but this item after conforming attaches to Ailin's right hip just slightly into her flesh and that right fulcrum point wont budge. I got it to fit in all other places except that right hip... I read several tutorials on making things conform, but they basically seem to be talking about items made in outside programs that have no conform parameters at all. In a nutshell is there any relatively simple way to get clothes made for Victoria 2 to fit onto the Victoria 2 based morph characters that are all over the place? Thanks so much for your time! And I am sorry if this isn't exactly an original question :(

Not sure but the Tailor program might work for you, someone else will probably jump in with the answer. This is one reason I don't pick up morphed out characters, unless they supply clothing with them. Marque

Tried tailor with the bikini bottom and it wouldn't load it at all.. some error. Tried it with the loin cloth, and it did nothing. I am assuming that is because the names in the lion cloth don't match the body part names. I see folks use that loin cloth on all sorts of non Poser 4 nude women charracters.. not sure what the deal is there.. I may yet try tailor with some other piece of vic 2 clothing like the cat suit and see if I can get a base conformer?? So lost :(

Tailor is definitley the answer to the problem, but I don't know why it isn't working in this case. If the loin cloth is a freebie, try writing to codetwister and tell him where he can download it to try it out. I'm sure he'll be interested in fixing tailor to handle it if there's a bug. Before Tailor came along, just a couple of months ago, there was no easy way to fix this sort of problem. Do try the cat suit in Tailor. We know for sure that one works so if you can't get it to go, either tailor isn't working properly on your machine or you're doing something wrong. You might like to check your version of Tailor, too. There have been a few updates since it first came out.

Hmm, ok I will mess with Tailor some more. But don't the clothing items have to have the same name as the base models parts? The loin cloth does not share any base model's part names..

Is the loin cloth a conforming figure? If so then the internal names are the same as on the target figure even if the names you see aren't. I don't know for sure how tailor works, but it should work on internal names. It may work on group names instead. If so, then that's something Codetwister needs to take a look at, with a view to switching to cr2 internal names.
