Subject: Tree lab in bryce 5

I was wandering if any one knows a good place to have hints on the tree lab in bryce 5, i want t put texture on the tronc and different leaves, id like to give a shape to the tree. Thx weird

All I know is if you get sick of the Bryce default treetrunks, you can make them invisible by setting all colours to pure white, no procedural textures, transparency to 100, everything else to zero, turn off shadows casting in the texturemap puuldown (also click blend transparencies). You can make much better trunks in the terrain editor by drawing lighning like lines as symetrical meshes.

Keep the refraction counter at air, sorry, not zero. Make the branching lines rounder by drawing a lighter highline in the middle of each, and a medium line surround this, then blur slightly in photoshop or equivalent. Everything else around the trunk and branch lines must be complete black. Add dots of varying intensity as bumps.
