Subject: Missing downloads

I recently purchased 4 items in your store but have no clue as to how I am supposed to be able to download them. My computer crashed immediately after completing the transaction and then going to some "account" page which showed the items I had purchased but they were listed as "past purchases." I do not understand why it was set up this way. I sincerely hope I am not getting ripped off. Peter

No, you're not getting ripped off. The downloads are set after you reply to an email that states confirmation of the order is required for 1st time buyers. The notice was sent to the email address you used to create your membership account here at Renderosity, and it's best to reply using your Renderosity account username and OrderID that's noted in the email. Now that I've confirmed your information I have enabled your downloads, so you can get them now. Thanks, Jenifer Keeling Renderosity Admin

Why don't you do this another way. Witin seconds you take the $$. But then I spend 1/2 an hour trying to figure out how to get what I paid for. If I ever get what I paid for it will be the last bee sting from this outfit! Jiremas

After sitting here on your site for quite sometime now and reading the forum, I notice that this issue is like a 70% overall gripe, why don't you guys figure this goofy problem out? It doesn't take a rocket engineer to figure this out and from what I have read you piss off more of your new customers with this lame setup. Now if the movie is over or your back from the pub can you please activate my download as I have already PAID for it and replied to the email you sent me within 5 minutes of purchase... -Jiremas

I would just like to say that I was a little put off by the initial set up as well, but you have to consider that they're doing that for good reasons. It has to be done to protect credit card holders from credit fraud. If they didn't do that then they'd have to up the cost of their services and take other security measures. I have been very pleased with the store since then as my downloads are available immediately. Overall I think this is the best online store for purchasing Poser items. There is room for improvement in some areas, but that's true of anything! :) Brian
