Subject: Birch trees in Vue??

Does this look like a birch tree to you guys??

Looks great. I have some birch trees in my garden. Maybe a little too dense on top. Less dense, it would look like a young birch tree. Older birch trees becomes very large and have masses of branches. But anyhow, the tree looks nice and the stem also:-) Guitta

the bark is extremely beautyfull,the shape in this picture looks a bit too poplarlike, but thats no point . The colour off the leaves and them beeing so fine is great too. regards Myske

Lyne, you can create such a tree in following my tutorial. Apply a birch texture (from a photo i.e.) on the bark:-) The tutorial were made for Vue 3, but it works the same in Vue 4. Guitta

Thanks folks for the kind words.. I still have to work on the leaves and stuff... Lyne, if you look at my new post, you can download the birch texture from the free stuff... And I also indicated how I did the trees...

This tree looks fine. I prefer this one compared to the standard Vue tree we can see on lot of pictures. Message671426.jpg Yves

Thank you Yves.. My idea is that I'm also tired of the standard trees in Vue and I'm trying to come up with new ones.. :)
