Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the entries. Reavealing both in ability and insight to the artists. Well done all. Only detractor is this: You'd think with so many people lurking in the Poser forum, there would be more votes given for the people who took the time to enter. On the other hand, maybe BUNCHES looked and couldn't make up their mind...grin. OK, ladies, do your "dirtiest"! (and congrats!)
WooHoo! I never won anything for my artwork before! Pick a challenge topic? Oh, boy. Now you're asking :-) Um...well, okay, I have two wildly different ideas. 1. A real challenge: create a poser image on any theme you like, but you have to use the P4 models not the DAZ figures. Let's see how far talent can take those often-neglected resources. 2. (Being who I am) Create an image with a Gothic theme. Gothic: Of or relating to an architectural style prevalent in western Europe from the 12th through the 15th century and characterized by pointed arches, rib vaulting, and a developing emphasis on verticality and the impression of height. Or of or relating to painting, sculpture, or other art forms prevalent in northern Europe from the 12th through the 15th century. OR Of or relating to a style of fiction that emphasizes the grotesque, mysterious, and desolate. Those are my suggestions. Summfox?
Congratulations eirian and Summfox !! It is as ChuckEvans said about how few people voted. As for my part I didn't expect to win. I had fun making the morphs and turning dork into a semelance of a mouse. I learned a new Bryce trick too. I voted for mutedbanshee as I felt that the lighting effects merged well and the colors all seemed to balance fairly well. - good rendering.
Well, I've always loved traditional (and modern) gothic art, so that one sounds good to me. Been into vampires a lot lately too. But that might be too easy. Its easy to make just a 'gothic' image of any sort, so something else needs to be included. Maybe something like, a gothic image displaying something not usually seen in the genre? (having a hard time coming up with exact ideas, but maybe a gothic image displaying happiness, or some other sort of seeming paradox) Or maybe a gothic image with an oriental flare instead of a European one? A gothic image with flowers in it that aren't roses? Or maybe... I guess what I'm really saying is make a gothic image without the standard imagery? Make me FEEL that quality in the picture without relying on the same old trappings. Sound good?
{Maybe something like, a gothic image displaying something not usually seen in the genre? Maybe a gothic image with an oriental flare instead of a European one? A gothic image with flowers in it that aren't roses?} (Edited your comment slightly.) I LIKE that one :-) How about setting the above as a challenge. Leaving the question of what makes it "different" to the artist?

Or should I say winners are : eirian and summafox !! We had a tie for first place. Congratulations to both of you. You two get to pick the topic for the next challenge. Suggestions are welcome from everyone , but ultimately you two have the final decision. smerc
