Subject: Batchgen Problems

Okay, I use poser mostly for animations and I like the concept of Batchgen. Render while you sleep as it were. But I can't get this program to render sequential images or anything other than the display settings. It renders an image of the first frame and every successive frame is just a copy of the first. Rendered with no textures applied or anti-aliasing (which is check on in my render settings). I know this is only an evaluation copy, but what good is it if it renders the same untextured image over and over? I've checked the settings (not that there's too much complexity to the program) but nothing seems to point to "full render". Do I have to get the full version for it to work properly? Can anyone help? Fredoman

I had a lot of the same problems when I tried it too. After that I never touched it again. Would be great if it worked good. I decided not to buy it after useing the demo. Idea of a demo or evaluation copy is to evaluate it and decide from that. Was an easy desisition.

Hi I had a similar experience with Vue I downloaded the demo to find that I couldn't save the pics which meant that it wasn't worth me even attempting anything complicated (several hours work)just to be wasted. To add insult to injury I got a free copy of vue 2 from a magazine, thorght great I'll now be able to experiment! only to find vue 2 not compatible with XP! I can't afford the risk of buying a prog for over 150 to find I may not like it so your not the only one Dave

fredoman, It works but you have to follow the instructions carefully. Please see the tutorial in the online help. Also, you must have SR3 of the pro-pack. I've sold many copies of it, so it does work. Also the entire short at the attached link was rendered using it.

Also, I'll try to put together a video tutorial to help people get the settings right.
