Subject: TwoFace Utility

I noticed that my TwoFace utility didn't appear in the recent list of favourite utilities (nearly had me crying in my beer). I find it invaluable for use on clothing files, particularly if you want to look up a female's skirt - well, you know what I mean. Is this because nobody knows it exists or because nobody likes/uses it? I'd appreciate some feedback. If you haven't seen it it is in the utilities area of Free Stuff.

There, there... :-) I do use it, just not often, that's all. Poser 4 seems less able to cope with double sided polys than Poser 3 was, for some reason. I suspect many people don't know it exists - when you look at the number of requests on this and other forums which are answered by a link to UVmapper, for instance. Also, the single/double sided question is often academic when it comes to rendering time.

Whoa! Two posts in one day? Getting mighty chatty there Maz. Although I grabbed it, I've never tried your Two Face utility. When I've needed the effect I've done it in either UVMapper or 3D Exploration (can't recall which has this convert-to-double-sided feature).

Maz I have it. Like someone said above Poser4 does funky things with double sided Geoms.

Yes, I use it all the time. I haven't run into any of the problems the other folks are talking about though. I like having the inside of the mesh visable before rendering since it helps me with positioning the geometries.

sorry maz I haven't got it, where can I pick it up? Rob

Rob, it's in Free Stuff, utilities section. Just search for twoface (all one word).

Maz: I picked it up - haven't had a chance to use it yet. There's this wagon I'm thinking of working on though . . .

Maz, I use it and find it indispensible. I do a little modelling and the meshes only have one side visible. Your utility fixes that. I think you did such a great job on this program that it has become "transparent to the user"......... Krel
