Can some tell me how to transfer DAZ textures from
Poser to Max? Pro Pack does not seem to do the job
properly. The models will transfer and the basic colors
but no real hires details carry over, damn!

import the tex into max after model imported. assign textures in max and pick the texture maps from daz. should work.

have you tried to render in max? 'coz textures don't show in the modelling windows, you have to click on the chequered square first.

Jaqui pointed me in the right direction. After bring into max the poser file, I imported materials from scene into mat lib then manually placed every map in the multi/sub map stucture. But eye lashes did not work. Can someone help me with that one. Oh thanks Jaqui!!!

it works fine here, directly from poser to max... hmmm... conceirning lashes - that's a problem with poser which exports trans maps wrongly. there is a max script in free stuff that corrects it.

Aleks: My problems was when I imported the V2 Hires textures. Other textures like Raphael had no problems. (excepted needing huge amounts of RAM) Also I looked at the freestuff-Max-Utilites and can't find the script you mentioned. Can you direct me to the name of file (script)and where it is?
