I am curious if there are any other poser users in Minneapolis/St. Paul? It might be interesting to meet and talk and stuff.

I lived in St Paul for 11 years but moved to Iowa 12 years ago. Miss the cities, not the weather!

I lived in Minneapolis for about 20 years. In 1994 I escaped to Florida, and swore never to return to the Frozen North. I've been in Maine since 1999. ("The things you do for love.") I've been happily married since 1999, and so far the winters have been kind. I'm still waiting for a really good Killer Winter.

OOOh, I lived in Minneapolis, in the Uptown area (2715 Dupont Ave S) for awhile, then moved to Powderhorn Park (the park "was my backyard!") before fleeing to Florida! Someone at work here in Maine subscribes to the St Paul Pioneer Press. I read a story where 2 cops were on a robbery stakeout, and spotted some locals stealing frozen pizzas out of a delivery truck. The cops went after the guys in the house, and got mobbed. They shot their attackers, called reinforcements, and the residents of the house sent their dog to attack the cop's K9 dog. Geesh, it appears Minneapolis hasn't changed much since I left?! When I lived there, a cop was shot in a pizza joint, "execution style!" I'll take the sleepy town of Lewiston Maine any day.

Hey, ronknights (BTW, congrats on you recent marriage). You know that the twin cities are like any metro area of about 3 million. Some bad guys - yes but mostly this is a good town. In fact its been lot of fun having 'Jesse the Body' Ventura as our Gov. You missed all the fun by leaving too soon ;)
