Is it that resource heavy that it needs a multi-processor or network environment? I would really like to see what it can do, but I can't get past the network screen. Is there any way to bypass it? drac

Well, it *is* a network rendering client, isn't it?

Bryce lightning is meant to enable network-rendering without having to install a whole bryce 5 version on all the computers in the render-network. It's only a render-engine for networkrendering. Or at least that is what I always thought bryce lightning is.

Bryce 5, the latest incarnation of the program, adds support for Mac OS X and a whole lot more, including a network rendering program, Bryce Lightning, and labs for manipulating trees and light. oh well. i thought it was a lightning generator :(
