I agree with Eric - very cool floating things!

Very cool use of those Anton effects(if that is what they are). I have them, but never actually tried them out in Vue so not sure if that is how they come out. Either way, nice work. :)

Anton effects !?!? what are these ? is it POSER stuff ?

NightVoice ( ) posted Tue, 18 June 2002 at 11:22 AM

It is from daz3d for Poser. It is actually called "Magik Poseable & Conforming FX Figures" by Anton Kisiel. The set contains so wild flowing hair poses and a set of these sparkes (just open dust looking stuff or a ball with a tail etc). :)They usually are really colorful, but these here look really cool and dark. :)

I tried them out on the Vue demo but as we know poser did not import so well back then so it looked like crud when I tried it. Should give it a go again. :)

A very nice image, floating objects are very well done. Also like the evil face of the mage ! Yves

Sorry. Should never try to upload and add descriptions to images prior to having my first cup of coffee in the morning!!! Yes, the floaty, particle-thingies are Anton's Magik models that are available at DAZ. Since I use a Mac, I saved the character and 'particles' as an OBJ and assigned the color and transparency files to the groups of 'particles'. So, the dude and 'particles' were posed in Poser and brought into Vue. It would actually be pretty easy to recreate these in Vue, which---TEASE TEASE TEASE--I'm going to talk about in my book that comes out late September. -Rick-

Amazing image - very dark and threatening figure, and the particles are excellent. sig6.gif
