Catchy isn't it? lol Ok well here's the problem. 2 hours ago I decided I would play in Poser with a few of my new toys...2 hours later I have NOTHING to show for it due to the chaotic mess that all my menu's are in. So I have 2 questions. First, I vaguley remember someone mentioning being able to move your mat files to your camera menu. Anyone remember or know where that thread may be know? Second question, and forgive me if I am not making sense on this one but it is way past my bedtime, would it mess things up if I say took all my items say in my figures menu and reorganized them in sub menus. Like have all the Vicki figures folders within a folder called Vicki? I hope that makes sense. Something tells me I am reaching on this one, but I just spent 2 hours going through all my stuff and have nothing accomplished poser wise :( Granted my free stuff addiction is somewhat to blame. Thanks in advance for any help. :)

i have never been able to get submenus to work. You can see the items but loading them doesn't work. What I do is have Posette Posette clothing Vicky, Vicky clothing, Vicky shoes, Posette shoes, scenery, Jewelry, hair, Mike, Mike clothing, Dork, Dork clothing, animals. and so on. That way i can find what I am looking for easily. but everyone has different ways of doing it S

Yarp's superb P3d0 utility is an indispensable tool for controlling my Poser-Folder Bloat - It's available in freestuff, still, although I understand it may soon go commercial. I honestly can't recommend it enough for any Poser user with more than the basic factory-installed libraries.

You can also rename MAT files (pz2) as Face Files (fc2). I put all my skin and cosmetic mats in as faces and all my utility and clothing mats as cameras.

Just say "NO" to subfolders I have also been trying to straighten up my files and here's how I organized my figures (in case anyone cares) people (the P4 family & the milliniums) vicky clothing michael clothing dork clothing posette clothing posable hair kid clothing posable props additional figures (or "things without wardrobes") animals miscellaneous (if this gets too big I'll add a new catagory as needed) now if I can just get my props organized too....

Just to make sure it's clear, because it's 5:30 in the morning to me and so I'm getting confused easily, if your folders currently look like this: Supervicky Ultravicky Megavicky You can put everything in those folders into a new folder just called Vicky. What you can't do is have a file structure like this: Vicky Supervicky Ultravicky Megavicky. I hope that made sense and wasn't as redundant as I fear it might be.
