WOWZA! GREAT WORK JUDITH! SHEEEESH... YOU"VE BEEN A VERY BUSY GIRL! (I-2) but I believe you (et. al.) are owed a promise from me and you may ACTUALLY be finding that to be kept. Am hoping you find the additions well worth the wait... (And better late than never... would apply here.) REALLY NICE JOb here, my friend. All the Best. peeg

Pamola ( ) posted Thu, 20 June 2002 at 5:18 PM

Can we talk about that tree texture? HOLY CRAP! (That means a good thing over here. : ) ~

judith ( ) posted Thu, 20 June 2002 at 5:30 PM

Thanks Pamola :)) Can't take all the credit though. A great model = easy to texture, and Chris is one of the best! Not only that, he did the backdrop leaves texture.... and it is a jaw-dropper! Excited to see what you've got going on!

Stunning!! You guys are absolutely amazing!

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Thu, 20 June 2002 at 8:34 PM

Okay, now that is impressive. And suitable for far more than traditional fantasy ... I'm thinking of the treehouse from The Lost World, the Ewok village from Return of the Jedi, and the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk.

How do the residents get up there? Lift, stairs, or ladder?

judith ( ) posted Thu, 20 June 2002 at 9:27 PM

file_13314.jpg

There is a walkway that spirals around the tree to the top hut and ladders going from the walkway to the platforms :)) Sorry about the poor image quality, I forgor to antialias.

LOLWD Once again you lot at Transpond have tapped into the highest priority levels of my mental Poser Wish-List. How you do it I don't know, but this is SO COOL! (.....I'll bet you've already started on the next-highest item on my list - The Treasure island/Neverland/Skull Island Cove with beaches and adjustable water-level to either walk or row into the Skull-Cave...... :-)) ...Have I mentioned COOL! ....

cwshorty ( ) posted Fri, 21 June 2002 at 5:14 AM

Wow!!! I can't even begin to imagine creating something like this. It looks great and you guys do such excellent work. I look forward to it.

judith ( ) posted Fri, 21 June 2002 at 9:11 AM

Sure Noel, we're reserving spots as we speak ;) All the while we were putting this together I was thinking the same thing BTW. leather-guy, that is a seriously cool idea and it just went on my list! :))) Thanks all for the great feedback!

I call dibs on the penthouse! Just send me up a pair of scantily clad elven princesses of dubiuos virtue, a 5 gallon barrel of mead, and don't call me for a week....... ok make that 2 weeks maybe 3 -Trav

Wow, I predicted this, waaay back when the DL Realm was announced! I -AM- psickick! (deliberately misspelled to forestall anti-psickick gremlins)

Just damn awesome!! You guys are amazing!!

judith ( ) posted Fri, 21 June 2002 at 4:23 PM

Val, I had to go back and look at the original post..... you're right! Considering your success with Steph's prediction, I'm inclined to believe that you've got someting going there! LOL@ Trav!!! We've got everything set up for ya but the princesses of dubious virtue. Can't even find a darn elven princess with her virtue intact, for Pete's sake! But I do have a line on an elven warrior(ess) ;) Thanks Em!

Oh that looks neat. ;] Hrmmm... has a lot of potential as a Tarzan setting also.
