Check the link out for crossbow, swords, mace, lance etc,. all in cob format though: http://home.earthlink.net/~jk5150/

If they're in COB, they should be convertable with Compose.

I just downloaded the crossbow from this site and tried to open it with Compose. It didn't work for me. Maybe someone else with Compose will try it. I haven't downloaded any of the other files to try.

You can import into Bryce 4 and then re-export to another format.

I faked a crossbow with one of the free bow-and-arrow sets I found and a pistol from the old Parts&Props (now Stuff For Poser) from Zygote... Wasn't great, but it got the job done... :-)

Okay, willf, explain how to re-export from Bryce. Can't find the info in the book at all!!!!!

They left that out, you need to click on the object and click the "edit" radio button (as though you were going to smooth the item). Then leave the smoothing thing alone but on the keyboard hit "command (or control) d" and a pop-up will appear asking you what format to export to: RDS/Infini-d/obj/3ds etc.
