This is not a criticism to anyone, just an observation I've made over the years of being a member here, but it seems like everytime DAZ puts up something new, inevitably, someone here will come running back to report on all the new stuff they've found at DAZ. We all visit DAZ regularly, so it's no real surprise what they tell us. I guess if you're a newbie it's nice to find out what DAZ is offering, especially if you don't know about DAZ yet, but most of us have already discovered the goodies over there on our own and really don't need the announcements. Maybe they just want to be the first to discover them. LOL Melanie

As a newbie I appreciate the heads up here from the members, otherwise I would'nt have got the gorilla. I havent got into the habit of checking out the DAZ site on a regular basis, I spend far too much time here in the forums/marketplace/freestuff. Or at RDNA. I suppose at some point I really should use some of the stuff I've got to render a picture lol.

You may be forgetting the obvious joy that comes from talking about the latest great new freebie, or showing what you've done with it.. comparing the fun, etc. I just love it. My biggest gripe is subject lines that really don't tell you the subject. I often just won't bother to look. On the other hand, if someone wrote: "We already know about the DAZ freebie," I'd know what the message was about, and decide if it's worth reading.

Sorry if I offended you, Ron. I like to keep an aire of mystery, I guess. It tends to draw some folks in. It always draws me in, just out of curiosity. Melanie

That image is about the way I was beginning to look. I finally got it from my purchase history. I think the heavy traffic at DAZ because of this little beastie is causing some glitches. They server has the vapors or something. But I finally got my gorilla. Now it's playtime! Melanie
