I've tried several times to get to the pages where the DAZ gorilla D/L's are. I keep getting a 405 Gateway timeout page and can't get anywhere else. Anybody have the same problem? Is it just that they're incredibly busy because of the popularity of the gorilla, or is there some glitch on the site?

artnik, I don't get same message, but I can't get the gorilla either. but I have never been able to get anything from daz as their site only really works with ie. and I don't have ie available, nor will i get it.

I think this happens to popular web sites when a new item is release. Everyone is trying to get the same thing at the same time. I had great difficulty downloading Questor's fine weapons from the Free Stuff archives... I finally gave up trying to get them all today.

I use netscape w/ no problem. You might try going to the store and "buying" the gorilla--put it in your cart and checkout. Won't charge you anything, unless you buy the tex & poses, of course. They're a great deal for $9.

I use Proxomitron (proxy server) and have to turn it off to get to the freebies page. Otherwise it goes into an endless loop of redirects. I also have to turn it off to go through the purchase process. Sometimes if I forget, the download link doesn't appear. just a FYI Spit

I'm having trouble getting clothes I have purchased through Daz. There is no download button. It has been two days now since I purchased the clothing, and still no word from Daz. Dutchman.

I can't get to the free sections (i just gotta have those new guns). My daughter just downloaded a purchase from them on her computer with no trouble, but neither one of us can reach the free section. My gorilla needs a gun!

I have no problem getting to free section, but with old phone line it takes about 2 hours to D/L one of those files. I hope they will be there for awhile, I can only do one file a day. They sure look nice so it will be worth the time. Tashar 59

dutchman, you got an email from daz at the time you bought your stuff, there's a link in the email to get to your downloads. Rob

WEll I get those emails minutes if not hours after I do the purchase. I'm too impatient to wait for them.

Daz has a funny issue with thier site. I noticed some people saying that it only works under IE. I recently went over to pick up a few things, yes including the San Fran hair. I couldn't get to the checkout at all with IE and could only go in with Netscape. I have a feeling it has something to do with security settings, and IE I have turned all the way up. Things don't hit Netscape as hard so I use that when I need to go do things like this.

I've had problems with both I.E and Netscape, Ive never been able to download from Daz with IE 5.5 or 6.0, though I do get the links, and this is the only site I have such problems with. My solution? OPERA!!!! it works every time for me. though is does seem that most of your problems are due to High volume at the Daz site as the same thing happened when steffy came out. if possible try way off peak download times.

Hey Everyone, Well after much discussion here at DAZ, we have decided to extend the 30% Store Sale for another week. It will now expire on July 1, 2002! With the extension, you should be able to get the $5 voucher from the DAZ survey and use it in conjunction with the sale.
