Great shots, it is Oxford, isn't it? I used to go there a lot at one time. Love your texture in the second one, nice touch. I've always liked the soft colours of that stone. Think the last one must be scared of heights!!

Ah, you can't go wrong with Oxford... I used to climb the tower of St-Mary's quite often. Astonishing views. Nice classic pic of the camera (#1); I really love the gargoyles ... You captured the whole atmosphere there.

I agree with everyone who commented: these are beautiful shots, esp. for the ones picturing the gargoyles..! Their graininess, textures, very beautiful and rather pastel colors are so effective...

Thanks folks, BevIt is Oxford and believe it or not I have lived here all my life and never really photographed the place. Peterke I have never been up St-Marys tower before, as I commented to Niko, its strange how you take you surroundings for granted. L8rdzecrying is just how I saw it with expression and the black weathering Doruksal Glad you liked the post work I like to try and add that little bit extra to my work. The best are still in my camera, I hope. :O)

Thanks again folks, Niko mate, There is a bit of post work on the first image if you want to know the details I have started a tutorial page on my web site or you will be able to find it in the Learning Centre soon. This picture only uses the outline and paint layers. Artax like the B&W idea, I still struggle producing digital B&W prints being a old dip and dunk worker it kind of feels like cheating. :O)
