First pic on film from that festival trip. Took this one from a bridge on my way to the town proper. I didn't think this would see print, I thought I had too much light in this one. I posted another version in the gallery, same pic, but cropped and coverted to grayscale. I'm not sure if I did the proper thing hehehe... Comments welcome. (*

Well I really like the color version alot....the b&w just feels to tightly cropped to me (but that's just my humble opinion)....nice work Star!

I am, therefore I create.......

Would be nice to "age" this pic. Converting it to a duotone sepia and then adding lots of dust and scratches to give it a kind of colonial feel.

I really like the colour one too but I like the contrast & light in the b&w, I think it would be a good subject for duotone, with dust & scratches even! Could make it quite moody...

Yes, Rork, didn't think of unleashing a bunch of artistic filters to get that "handpainted" look. It certainly works. Maybe cutting away at the edges of the photograph (you know, those "ornamental" cuts they used to make, or whatever you call them). This is starting to get that "Dr. Livingstone, I presume ?" -feel.

Nice pic Jovan! (and good treatment Rork) ;-)>

@ Michelle - I tend to agree with you the more I look at the pic. @ peterke/bevchiron - I was planning to do the same thing actually. I had converted the pic to duo but without the scratches it looked plain. I had that Aged Film filter before, but I lost it in the last drive crash, and I tried downloading demo versions from DigiEffects, and I can't seem to make it work with my PS. :-/ @ Rork - your postwork is really kewl! (I'm saving it...) If you're in my area, let me know, I'd be glad to show you around. :-) Thanks for the comments. (That goes to you, too, PC!) :-) (*

Beautiful image. And like I said in galleries, would like to spend my weekend in place like this. Wanna join? ;o) .n
