Finally (!!!) I had time to scan these month-old *Pahiyas* festival pics. These are fresh off the flatbed, no postwork except color adjustment to match the print and resizing. Some of you have seen this before, but this time on film. (Yipee...) :-)

I hate those wires... In the negative the arch at the top isn't cropped off. Stupid lab people don't know how to crop pics properly... This three-storey house won approximately $2000 for its elaborate decor.

This was very pretty to look at. The folks who live here covered the entire facade of their house with colored wood shavings.

House of grain. On the whole, I'm happy with the outcome of the pics. Not as many wasted shots as expected. My only way of sharing the experience. :-) Comments are welcome. (Warning: there's more to come! hehehe... Just need more time to scan the stuff.) (*

Thanks, thanks for the comments :-) @Rork -- yup, I'm keeping them :-) I just wish I took more pics... @Sue -- I agree. Life in the province is really different from the city. Even if events like this only happen once a year... (*

Huh, like I said, you guys surely do the strangest things with food. I can almost hear my grandma:"Dont play with your food young man!" Beautiful images, oh it must have been beautiful happening. If I would have to pick one, it would be the first or the last. .n
