I own the one from sams 3d and its really nice! You have 2 floors ,a stair and a railing ,movable doors, a room in the tower! And its worth every penny!!! The image shows the hall and the stairs. And as far as i know ,the new version of the house comes with textures.Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=89210&Start=25&Sectionid=0&Form.Search=chohole
I agree with Thomas, I have the one from Sams3d, this pic shows part of the outside used as a non spooky image. It's probably cheaper as well, Sams3d is very good valueThe greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."

One more, do these pictures help? If you have any questions just ask....SharenThanks everybody, the pictures helped a great deal Sharen. I have to say I'm definately impressed with your house, & I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it. As a newbie I can appreciate how difficult it is to set up scenes, I've had Poser for 3 weeks now & I'm still fiddling about trying to get it right. Still practice makes perfect (or better anyway)
I just love everything by SAMS3D. I can echo the comment about it being complicated to maneuver around in such intricate buildings. I did many fine renders with my cowboy outside their Saloon. But I got totally lost trying to maneuver inside. I'm still a klutz I guess. I haven't revisited the Saloon in months. Guess I should get a good stiff drink and try again.
To maneuver inside a building i find it's easiest to use the Top Camera (move it high up enough so you get a view of the whole building), then make the roof invisible, as well as any floors above the one you're working on and then use the x and z trans dials to move your character or prop into position. Parent one of the cameras to a prop, then maneuver the prop into any of the rooms and switch to that camera to get a camera view of that room.

What really helps is when models of houses, rooms etc. come with camera settings. That what Judith does with her Transponds products.. Marforno has also put in camera setting, and I'm sure Richarbi has too. It's very hard when your new to Poser to get around in a house without at lest a base to start with. This is a HINT for Modelers.
Love is Grandchildren.
I'd say go for Sams house, and if you have problems they can answer them easily for you, and they will answer you! :) I have lots of their models and have never been dissapointed with any of them!

Actually, I have all three of the haunted houses and each has their own particular pluses. If told I had to make a choice between the three I would have to refuse. Each has their own unique appearance which is what I look for in an architectural model. I'm one of those strange people who buys a model to fit a scene I'm building rather than building a scene to fit a model. :-) Kate (who really needs to get off her butt and e-mail Sharen for the update to their model)

Hi all, I'm looking to get a haunted house for both spooky settings, & as a general house i.e. posette & dork relaxing after work etc. DAZ & SAM'S 3D both have a haunted house for sale & there's only a few cents between them, the one at SAM'S looks more like my idea of a haunted house, but the one at DAZ looks easier to use in terms of setting up scenes (I can't really see much of the inside at SAM'S the thumbs are too small). Could anyone who has either/both haunted houses let me know which they find easier to use. I've seen a couple of renders here using the DAZ house but none using the SAM'S house, if anyone could point me at a few renders of the SAM'S house I'd be grateful.
