Three images from today....I bought my season pass to the state beaches....got there at 9:00 am and left at 2:00pm...I am burnt to a crisp...ouch...but it was a beautiful day. This first is one is from one of the entries to the beach from the pavilion...it caught my eye...I have a few different shots but this one just seemed to work well....

I am, therefore I create.......

This next is Madeline....getting ready to catch a wave....the water was numbingly cold...but that didn't stop anyone... We had the beach all to ourselves when we got there, it was full a couple of hours later.

I like all three, but the second one is beautiful, like she's the only one there, a child discovers the world (or something). great work.

I agree about the second one that is a beautiful capture, but the first is my favourite I just love it's bold composition! LOL! @ 3 ; )

LOL @ the third one! These are keepers, Mich! I love the Madeleine pic. Captures the way children face adversity. The first pic is one for the design books. (*

Can't add much to what's already beeen said. The colors in all three are wonderful. Time to get out the watercolor brushed (in Painter). Take care of that sunburn.

Wow ! That's what i call composition ... The first is absolutely wonderful; ready for print, i would say. I also love the second one; great color and overall balance. ... I still have a lot to learn. Did you do this with your digital cam ?

Love them all, Madeline so reminds me of Rebecca in her obvious love of the water! Michelle, I hope your sunburn doesnt ouch for too long! :-)>

the first one shouts out with it's simplicity! excellent image! I like the second one with the little one like she is challenging the ocean....the third looks like "leave me alone, I'm in my own little world, go away!"...so much for my philosophy...nice stuff

Love that first one, the interconnection between the post and the chair......kewl..... Now, that third one to me actually epitomises the Brit on holiday - we (I use that collectively for my countrymen and not for myself) pay a fortune for a holiday in the sun then keep out of it and in the shade to stop burning or peeling..... me? Don't have that problem. I go so brown in the first couple of days that I wouldn't look out of place in Calcutta.... I LOVE the sun!! (",)

Michelle A. ( ) posted Tue, 25 June 2002 at 7:00 PM

I hate anyone who can turn brown so easily! I'm milky white all year long, 'cept when I burn...then I'm red and peely and icky...my own fault I usually remember the sunscreen after I begin to burn....

I am, therefore I create.......

Mmmm that first one--seems to have hidden or runic significance. Love it. The whole thing makes me want to take the dog to the beach, but then there's that whole BATHING SUIT issue (dog does not know how lucky she is), so I think I'll go chase birds around the swamp and get mauled by mosquitoes instead. What fun.
