ok everybody take a long hard look at this picture. can you see where I goofed? my first real try at the magic of PS. I didn't like the sky in the original so I put another sky pic behind the building.... check out the direction of the light source.... from the upper left on the building... from the upper right on the clouds.... DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Hey, there could have been a cloud, directly between the building and the sun such that there was more reflected penumbral light than direct light... I mean, I see your point, but it isn't you know terribly glaring, so to speak. Anyway nice job on getting it put together. Selecting around the trees and rough edged things like that can be hairy.

Jack, imo the lighting on the buidling isn't intense enough to draw attention to it.....like Michelle says, if you hadn't mentioned it.... Technically it looks well done, so I guess our eyes aren't looking for mistakes. If you'd had some strong shadows obviously pointing the wrong way, then yeah, but here? Nah, you get away with it nicely. Good pic. (",)

I agree the lighting on the building is not strong enough. In fact if I had to guess I would say it was around noon when the picture was taken. --Randy R
