wandering around the ole renderosity webring sites for a few nice pages full of inspiration and... freebies!! L.. I found a really nice site with great models and textures.. joelegecko.com.. now it's obvious a lot of time has not only gone into the presentation of the site but also the FREE models within... unfortunately thanks to our friends the plagiaristic parasites, poor Mr gecko has been forced to retract all freebies and shut down his site.. it's really disheartening to find that after all the time and effort he put into his work a few bad nasty wrong people can rob an entire community of such a valued duuuuuuuuude.. L.. same happened to tygerlander who has also had to rebuke access to her freestuff purely because it's taken for granted that because it's free, there is no ownership concerned... which is just dumb and stupid and annoying... personally I'd like to take this chance to thank every single person out there who takes the time and makes the effort to provide high quality free products for us budding artists... even if I haven't downloaded any of your stuff.. I think it's wonderful you've put it out there for us. and to the ungratefuls I hope this guilt trip is enough to at least make you think twice before trying to pass off anothers work as your own. k feel better now.. :D Dolphy..

joelegecko together with wwhitney and thip opened a subscription site where you can find all his old stuff and a lot more. It is not free, but very cheap and all their stuff is top quality.

Poser Style still offers occational freebies and in their typical OutStanding Quality! Yes indeed it is unfortunate that there are so many plagiaristic parasites who just don't think or care. In the end we ALL loose out as these wonderful, talented, and generouse people are forced into seclusion or behind locked gates. I for one however do sinserely plan and paying the meger cost to gain access to the new PoserStyle; just got a few other responsibilities to square away first..

I finally did a Poser Style subscription last night. Oh. My. Gawd. Do it, man.
