Thought I would let Minerva's new Yumi model my new dress texture in ISOP's MLDress. 1-just the texture 2-texture and trans map 3&4-just trans map with basic material color, white and black. So let me know what you think and how to improve if need be. Is this something any one can use? Thanck-you for your help and time. Tashar 59

I think they are lovely. Are tey intended for sale or FS? I can't tell if the seams are ok and I hear that's one of the stickler's for sale. But that do I know, I don't sell nuthin.:)) Emily

They will be Free when finished. Just want to make sure it all works right. Trying to make mats for them. Also I found the seam so I have to fix that. Can't get away with anything. Suggestions on how to fix it. Thank-you for the nice comments. Tashar 59

yes the seem is dead center down the back and there is a realy wide mesh segment at eather end which if you put a flat texture on it will cause the compression you see. the ideal thing is to stretch out the texture evenly in those areas I haven't found an easy way of doing that except for with squizz an expensive photoshop plugin ($140.00 just for a plug-in!!) theres also a cheeper program called pm Rubber but I tried the demo and was less then enthused.

Well I love the black and white textures and would use them for sure!

The black and white ones are mono-colored, so the "repeat" is less visible. This makes it easier to hide the lack of symmetry and the warp in the back. I personally love paisley patterns and think they are lovely on summer dresses. However, you might want to make the pink less vibrant so that the pattern flows better. (If you have PhotoShop, use Image > Adjust > Hue Saturation & Value. Select the hot pink and Similar (to get the rest of the pink patches), then play with the dials to see what a color change will do.) If you want to keep the pink, select the yellow and change that instead. :) Carolly

Purple!!! I love purple. And as for the seam squishin--what I usually do for clothes that do that is. . change my pose. LOL! Everything else looks very very good. Don;'t give up the pink and beige one though-- it has an innocent but sexy look that irresistable. They're free? We'll work around it!! Fabulous first texturing, you should be proud. Emily

Black backing would look like those wonderful Russian shawls (you know, with 100 layers of screen printing). Eggplant might be better for blending things and holding them together. I like the trend towards the purples. (guilty grin) However, a soft yellow/orange/pink (think of a field of Iceland poppies) would be very feminine. You are doing well! Carolly
