Hi all! June challenge is closed now and I invite averybody to vote now. We had 33 entries this month and it will be very difficult to choose a winner. To make your choice please have a look at all the images, even if you have seen them before. You have 24 hours from now on to make your choice. If we have 2 or more images placed equally, we will do a second vote. Vote finishes Monday July 1 at 4 a.m NY time (10 a.m. Paris time). Good luck to all:-) Guitta

And: IMPORTANT: Some artists have participated with more then one image. Also please specify in your vote the image you choose i.e. "I vote for blabla-3". Thanks, Guitta

It's very difficult to make a choice this month, for me it's a case of conscience, but definitly my vote go to the "last minute entry" of Agiel...i like the black & white effects...the winds effects on the Marylin's dress.(and i like Marylin...). Cheers. Georges. :)

Dang...this is a VERY difficult choice to make. Great subtle ones, great strong ones, but which to choose. I rewrote this paragraph five times with how to explain how I picked it but I can't explain it right. The entries really are that good that no explaination covers why I picked one but not another. So I better just shut up and get on with it. :)

I choose: Scifiguy's Crossing the Wastelands for the fantastic look of hard gritty dirt blowing all around.

Everybody else, you all did fantastic jobs and should be proud of what you created! :)

I vote for tradivoro this time around, though there were so many pictures I liked.

Difficult choice, but my vote goes to the one with the washing, Gebe's Summer Wind. Carol

Lot of beautiful pictures, but my vote goes to gebe-1 (summerwind), since the scene is complex, the wind effect appears on the picture, but the render is of a very good quality ! Yves

tradivoro ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 12:05 PM

Yeah, I have to go with gebe-1, I like the cloth effect and it's a very nice render... If i had other choices, I would say bernieloehn's was very interesting, and agiel's extremely different and entertaining... :)

gebe ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 12:24 PM

Thanks Myske, but why do you think so? I'm not the best anyhow, I'm only working very much on my images:-) My vote goes to Doro, because I really could feel the wind in this image. But there are many others I really love. Guitta

I am still pleased with the popularity of the cpast few challenges. Even if it makes voting all the more difficult. My vote goes for bernie and her opened window. It has something special I can't define.

gebe ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 1:45 PM

You have done a nice choice agiel, but bernie is a HE:-) Guitta

nggalai ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 2:40 PM

Here's another for "Summerwind" (gebe-1). A lot of very nice pictures, and nightvoice's 2nd especially made me think long and hard, but--Summerwind it is. The cloth effects are just too convincing. ;) well done, gebe. ta, -Sascha.rb

Many nice pics this month... congratulations to all. Hem ... it is a hard job to vote... But my vote goes to gebe (SummerWind)... More wind in this picture... Tschuess Patrick

My vote goes to scifiguy's "Wasteland" picture...

Jilly ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 6:26 PM

I like the colouring and effects from Wabe, so my vote goes there.

scifiguy ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 8:52 PM

So many cool pics for such an obscure topic! What a great challenge. My vote goes to Guitta also, but to Paris dense (gebe2). The impression of wind is carried throughout the pic very consistently, and woman with the umbrella pushed it over the top for me.

h-kana ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 9:30 PM

My vote goes to gebe-1, SummerWind. It's my computer's wallpaper of July :-) Hatsumi

Ms_Outlaw ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 11:05 PM

Can only be one winner, but there are 29 runner up's this month. Excellent images. I was really torn between about five, but went with Paris Dense gebe - 2

I am still waiting impatiently for my copy of Vue to arrive so i hope I can still vote? If so I vote for The Wind of Desolation by koncz
