I'm hooked now, I'm going to add more faces when I get some time to work on them :) I need to find a list of baby names so I can stop using numbers. I'm glad you like them, I have 50meg of web space so I'll be working hard to fill it with goodies. Rob

WOW I just looked up my first name "Your name of Robert gives you the desire to understand and help others with their problems but, at the same time, you can become too involved in their problems and, as a result, worry too much. This name creates a pleasant, easy-going, yet responsible nature. It gives you a natural ability to express affection to those close to you, without feelings of embarrassment. You tend to avoid issues, however, and put off until tomorrow the things which should be done today. Accordingly, you would find difficulty in achieving success in positions requiring aggressiveness and drive. Also, you prefer to avoid strenuous work of a manual nature. Your natural inclination is to pursue a line of work where you have contact with people, where you carry some responsibility, and where you are engaged in mental rather than physical activity. You are diplomatic in your handling of people and always give others the benefit of the doubt. You appreciate good music and art. The health weaknesses created by this name affect the fluid functions." it's 100% correct for me, all of it. spooky! Rob

I agree they're normally very vague but this one is spot on for me, I'd expect them to get a couple of things way off, but everything on this one matches right down to the fluid problems (don't ask) :) thanks for the link too I'm having fun with it right now, just call me Lionel Figgatt :) Rob

well it's empty at the moment apart from my 1 freebie Q if that's what you mean. I've posted the link to your name cause there's quite a bit of info on you ;) but no windmills. Rob

quixote ( ) posted Fri, 28 June 2002 at 12:33 PM

Actually it is pretty close, I guess. Thankfully they demured on my tendency for premature erotification. Now that would have been embarrassing. Fiufff!

c1rcle ( ) posted Fri, 28 June 2002 at 1:21 PM

ps I'm not 100% happy with some of the faces and I will be redoing them soon. Rob --------------------------------------------------- If your PC crashes in the middle of a forest and no-one's there to see it, does it still reboot? ---------------------------------------------------

Strangechilde ( ) posted Fri, 28 June 2002 at 2:38 PM

My goodness. That was shockingly accurate... though it didn't have my name in the datavase until I used the Irish spelling.

quixote ( ) posted Fri, 28 June 2002 at 3:31 PM

Rob. I meant free of charge. Looking for a site that permits large downloads (Mpgs and mov. types). I'll probably have to go with a commercial Ftp firm. PE? It could be said that premature erotification is to the mind what premature ejaculation is to the body. In my case, it has to do with a long recurring dream. The ideal beauty, the starlet, the model (feminine zeitgeist) is in her bedroom. She calls to me. I'm in her appartment trying to get to the bedroom. The place changes into a maze with lots of life and erotic symbols all over the walls. Very vivid and artistic symbols, BTW. Eventually I make it there, but the second I cross the threshole, I wake up. An old school chum a very good Phychiatrist and I started calling this premature erotification. We had a few good laughs about it. I usually have those dreams when I start a big project, probably symbolising a fear of not being able to complete it. Thats the sanitised version. And I guess you really had to be there. Yes, Rob. The PC reboots, but it run under Linux. MSGod, notwithstanding. Q

Sniff... my name isn't in their database, and there are at least 3 of us.

bikermouse ( ) posted Sat, 29 June 2002 at 1:35 AM

Don't feel bad hauksdottir, I can't find my name either. - at least yours can be found in large gold letters . . .

hauksdottir ( ) posted Mon, 01 July 2002 at 12:21 AM

Nu-be, Good idea! It is an ethnic variant, so one of the dictionaries might have it. Bikermouse, Just like doremus means "we who sleep" (if I have my cases right - it has been decades), there is probably something else ending in mus which would mean traveler or one who comes round again. Carolly

bikermouse ( ) posted Mon, 01 July 2002 at 7:00 AM

hauksdottir: If you must know it means "keeper of the hawk". I'm not making this up - wierd as might sound to you.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Mon, 01 July 2002 at 3:26 PM

bikermouse... would we kid each other? ;^) It is daughter of the hawk.

bikermouse ( ) posted Mon, 01 July 2002 at 4:43 PM

hauksdottir: Yes yours - I was talking of mine. Yours I know as it is similar to Erikson (son of Erik). A fine Nordic name. Mine I found many years ago, and have not been able to reference it in the internet as of yet, and cannot remember the source(I'm really bad with that,) but appears to be of Irish derivation and from what I've read means "keeper of the hawk". I don't know if it means that my ancestors were falconers or if it is even more cryptic or even if it could be French or even Greek.(I doubt it though - when I was growing up I looked like a cross between John Wayne and Ronald Reagan. Pretty sure I'm at least part Irish on my dad's side). Any rate geneology is just something really neat to know - so many of us have lost our family history. - Sorry for the confusion.
