Subject: Micheal character advise please?

ardvarc37 ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 3:50 PM · edited Tue, 18 February 2025 at 9:06 PM

I just bought him for the first time, I can't find a good character for him, I think he should be hairy and more muscular. I can't seem to find the right one here or at daz3d, Where should I go for a really good photorealist product? Any advice, please. Alex P.S. I am going to see a movie so I will be back to correspond this evening.

There are two or three that I use that I think are good. My all time FAVORITE is Syyd Raven's Adam Texture, There is SteffyZ's Edo Tex ( both of those are in the market place here) and the there is Kane/KAin ( not sure how to spell it) by Syyd Raven over at DAZ. I am sure there will be more suggestions coming your way. I just happen to like the above three, LOL

you can use morphs to make him more muscular, and you can go to the attached link to find some good photorealistic textures

Yeah I know about StefyZZ, skin tones a too iight. But I will take another look, her products are expensive. i could buy daz tex set in low-rez, because I can quadruple the size in Photoshop 7 with genuine fractals. Any other suggestions? TIA, Alex

You'll find free Michael textures (some hairy) at the Penguin Bar (an adult site).

Naw, his Micheal tex's are for the muscle man only. And that site is really homosexual, not my bag of marbles. Alex

You're out of help, man. Next time be more concrete and ask for heterosexual textures for straight Mike... :(

ardvarc37, About skin tones, Most people distribute light textures on purpose, because you can darken them and tint them realistically using the color attribute in the materials. Conversely, you cannot realistically lighten a dark texture without washing out some of the detail. Don't let skin tone affect your desicion. Make your selection by details, like body hair, wrinkles, realistic skin variations, etc. Then apply a "tone" of your own later.

That is very good advice definitely! makes perfect sense. Thank you.
