I seem to have accidentally volunteered myself for a (non-paying, sadly!) Poser project, and am need of two or three props, but can't seem to find them: 1) A military-style Crew Cut hair piece for the Poser Dork 2) Military boots for the Posette (the high-heel ones are nice, but unless you're doing "Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS" they don't look very military!) 3) The Cowboy boots for the male will work for this, but if there's a better Military-style boot for the male, I'd love to know where! Any help would be appreciated.

check props guild, poser world, poser mall, and the pfo...there are some combat boots there that should fit either man or woman with the right tweaking. Military haircut is best done right on the texture map. to see the combat boots..check the gallery under my name for...um..."Shayda and the D.H.A." They remind me of the gore-tex Matterhorns as opposed to the standard issue but hey. -Darth If you can't find them, drop me a line and I'll send them to you

Hmm, I was thinking of a texture for the crew-cut, but that wouldn't give the "square head" look -- unless there's a morph target for that floating around. I checked the props guild and both forums; I'll have to check the Mall and Poser World. Thanks.

For the tight crew, just use a bump map. If you find the Combat boots, let me know.

Check The Jungle Girl (Poser 3) character at Greylight site at right, boots seem close.

I hadn't considered the Jungle Girl. Phil Hokusai suggested using the boots from "Cara Loft"; I may have to try that, and I was informed Traveller MIGHT have the hair I need at MorphWorld. Thanks for replying.

Another alternative for the "flat-top" crew cut: Somebody recently posted a "Duke-Nuk'em" hair style for the Poser dork. I'm not sure if it's still there. But, it's worth a look. It should be in the free stuff, to the right.

It took me a while to find the Duke hair, but I did locate that one; I thought I'd seen one somewhere! I SHOULD have everything I need now... Need to re-read the descriptions of the characters to be sure, though!

There was a download character set on funstuff a while back, the red barretts man and woman. They were mod Poser3 (I think) characters in BDU's and boots. Texture was british camo, but boots looked good and were bloused, so might be a good starting point.
