Subject: This is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a newbie (that will become obvious in a moment). I can't seen to get the clothes to match up on my figures no matter how much time I spent trying to get them on right. And then if I move the figure the clothes don't move, and I have to start the whole @#%!&*$ process again. I've been trying to find a tutorial or something in the poser help about it, but I can't find the exact problem I'm having (it's probably so basic they just figure everyone will get it). If anyone knows what I need to do or adjust to get the problem fixed, or can point me to a good tutorial that addresses this particular problem I would be very greatful. Thankz in advance.

After you have the figure in the screen, click the clothing you want, then click object, then conform to, then chose figure 1 (most likely figure 1 being your model), and that should do it....Sharen

When you go to pose them, make sure your figure 1, the body is selected. That way the clothe don't pose and your body does....LOL Sharen

When you load a clothing item go up to your Menu at the top Figure Conform to A box will appear with a drop down menu. Pick the figure you want it to conform to ( example Figure 1 etc.) Make sure though it's the actual figure like Vicky or Mike or Posette. I am not good at explaining and I hope I didn't confuse you.

Thanks you guys! Like I said, so easy they just figured everyone would get that without any problems.

heyas; here's a handy tip: after you conform the clothing, do figure: lock figure. then you can't accidentally grab the clothes and move them when you meant to grab the figure and move it. here's another handy tip: you can select the clothing figure (after conforming) and hide it, and then you really wont be able to grab it! (hiding/unhiding is on the figure menu, also.)

Your not the only beginner...I still have those problems...like skin showing through you can't hide...or your character looks cut up...I am learning tho... My pictures here don't even compare to some of the greater ones...but it's a challenge and with the great help here... Well I will but say from us beginners to those here.... THank you so much for your kind help....

make sure you are using clothing that was created for the model you are using. So Vickie clothing only for victoria figures, Posette clothing only for poser 4 Nude woman, and so on. :) Good luck - everyone was a begginner once :)

Ohhhh bloodsong I LOVE you!!! LoL I get so sick of grabbing my models limbs and it loading in the darn shirt or whatever instead! That hint is much appreciated and will be used alot with me lol

Bloodsong, I never thought of that! What I do do is generaly select body parts from the menu at the bottom-left of the figure window (hint to newbies-- you can select body parts specifically by clicking on the words to the leftmost at the bottom of the figure window, navigating to 'body', 'body parts', and whatever! Woo! Neat!) But I've too tiny a computer to use clothes that much-- I will file that away carefully! Cheers!

heyas; yeah, the heirarchy list is more accurate, but it is so tedious to click to it and scroll through it and try to figure out, 'now do i want the left third pinky toe, or the right....' that i just keep trying to click in the working window. well, it takes a couple of tries, but i'm getting pretty good at it ;)
