I don't think even beta-testers know that. But, from the infamously long kupa post about Poser 5, even he says it going to a while. So, it's anybody's guess. By the end of the year? AgentSmith

I was thinking about Duke Nukem Forever as well, 4 yrs and still waiting, I saw what a slating Daikatana got so I never bothered to buy it, plus the demo was terrible. Rob

OT - Speaking of games, what was the name of a game form Japan (?) in the 1980's that came out with huge publicity, lots of marketing, and horrible English translation? One unfortunate screenshot read... ALL YOUR BASE IS BELONG TO US and YOUR HAVE NO SPEED MOTORBOAT TO ESCAPE, MAKE YOUR TIME

My money is on This coming Siggraph!...I also would bet that Kupa will have another preview release this coming week and announce the price..

the last big release from CL was done in a January so I'm guessing next Jan, I'm hoping sooner than that tho, I don't think I can go that long without going completely nuts. Rob

You can pretty much rule out Siggraph for a release. An announcement, Yes. Absolutely. Taking what kupa has said, they still have a lot to do. In addition, there has been ABSOLUTELY NO pre-release information sent out to media/other outlets. No advance advertising has been performed. No company releases a product that way. We are looking at 4th quarter at the earliest.

I have to agree with ryamka. The best we can hope for is an announcement at SIGGRAPH at the end of this month, with a projected 4Q shipping date, which would probably then slip into January, as happened last time.

I bet CL will tease the heck out of people at this coming siggraph, and info from that will trickle out to us. Then a release by or before January. (This is very confident wishful thinking)
