It's been a while scince I posted a model, and hope this one is useful. Here is Veth in her P4 premiere, using the "Mobius Standard" HiRes technique. Back in the heyday of P3, Mobius, (bows in the direction of greatness...LOL!), presented the forum with his HiRes figure. It made beautiful closeups and portraits of figures, and added great detail for scenes. Anyway, I have converted the standard P4 female with his technique, and hopefully, she will find some use in a scene or two. All her facial morphs work, but I have not done any others. If someone can do a few to give Veth her "sicilian figure", it would be much appreciated. Thanks out to The Nerd for creating his VaVaVoom clothing object. It makes it easier to post a model and keep her modesty. (Sort of, LOL) Take care, and enjoy the day. =)

Hi Veth! So, this is where you've been hiding lately! I don't think those togs will offer you much protection around here, though! hehe I'm wondering about the face morphs...I assume you used the one's from Mobius's figure? Rounding out Veth's figure is the best proposition I've heard in weeks! Maybe I can take a short at it...I'd assume best way would be to match it to the P3 figure? Still DLing this one and will have to compare to your old one... Foxhollow

Mobius did this to the P3 figure. It was brought into Max and a plugin was applied that effectivly quadruples the face count. It also rounds out the edges as it does it, so you get a much smoother mesh. It will probably clog an underpowerd system, but the close ups are much improved due to the face count and smoothness. One nice thing about it is the same process can be applied in Max to any morph target for the standard P4 figure and will work fine. The MT's will also increase in size, so this gets pretty heavy with alot of morphs added.

It's the pNurbs plugin script..I just tried it today in Max 3 and it seems to work fine. I didn't find the url for it right off..want to see if there's an update, so I'll be back when I fine it.

There is a new version of pNurbs for Max 3. Here's the URL for it.. http://www.johnburnett.com/

Well, hello all. I am glad that Veth will be useful and entertaining for those who remember her. Yes, the pNurbs 1.5 script for Max is at 3D cafe if I remember right. It works just fine with all body parts in object format. It draws tons of memory if you try to do too much in a scene with it, but it makes grand portraits. Hopefully, time will come now so I can enjoy myself more on the forum, do some pics, and make a few of the things Veth likes to wear when she is lounging around the house. (grin) I love the VaVaVoom of Nerds. He has given us girls something we can use to display our figures without blotting out all the sensitive areas, yet it covers the bare minimum, and looks quite sexy. (curtsies to The Nerd in thanks) I will pop in for chat when I can. And play with the wonderful ideas people bring to this place. LadyLight will be starting up with her Poser program again, and we will collaberate for some fun. Take care, and enjoy the day. =P Veth =)
