Back when Carrara 1.0 arrived on the scene, I had been only working with RDS for about 2 weeks and I remember on the MetaCreations web site they had a tutorial, or at least a semi-detailed step-by-step process on how the gargoyle face was created for the cover of Carrara (with if I remember a promise on how to do the rest a month or two later). Would anyone have saved such a website? I've been trying to do vertex models, at least with that one I seemed to get a little something that looked like a head, but I stepped away from Carrara for about one and a half years and I can barely make a nose. Or if someone's got a kick butt tutorial/step-by-step process on how to make organic (faces, bodies, what have you) shapes in Carrara any help would be appreciated... the gargoyle thing was just somewhat easy to follow.

See this site for some good tuts on the vertex modeler for creating a head. This guy really knows how to push a vertex or two (litst): http://www.chez.com/litst/eng/tutorials.htm
