I need help with bryce, i cant seem to...well, get anything to work, basically, when i try to make a sky, it just comes out as a big green or blue solid color wall sky. and how do i apply textures to the ground and moutains and exc!!!!??THANX

Read the manual that you got with your box, or use the help file on the demo. If that doesn't work for you, come visit again.

maybe you have checked the second button left to the render button, that button is render without textures.

I think Eric summed it up, although a bit blunt. If you don't have a manual, perhaps you should go BUY Bryce? Not only will you learn the basics of the program, but you'll be giving the creators their due reward for making such a great tool. (grins)

there is a version of Bryce, I believe, without a hardcopy manual, at a cheaper price. I think it's the one for students and teachers... anyway, there is a manual with that version too, but it is in pdf format.

There is no subsitute for RTFM, it's true, but you could also try doing a search in this forum for key words that describe your problem....We seldom come up with truly new and original problems!
