Subject: Restoring Poser4 to personal settings

Well, it's that time of year: reinstalling Windows to clear the cobwebs and other junk collected but not deleted by uninstalls over time. You know it's time when you get more Errors than Information events in your Application and System logs (NT/2K users know what I mean). So, I backed up the Poser4 directory under "Program Files" and reinstalled everything from scratch (reformatted boot drive and all). Now that Poser4/Pro Pack is once again installed, are there any particular files that can be copied from the back up directory in order to restore my settings (colors, locations of controls, etc)? I'm afraid to just mess about and end up needing to reinstall Poser4, ProPack, PP Service Release, and so on. Thanks guys and gals. BTW, my baby got a shot of power. Upped memory from 768MB to 1.3GB. The other system went to 1GB and changed out the AMD Duron 1.2GHz for an AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (1.47GHz, I think???). So, I'll be rendering a full scene of the pod race stadium and crowd from Star Wars, all characters based on Michael 2, tomorrow. (Yeah, right) ;) Take care, Kuroyume

Doh! Could Poser4 prefs actually be in Runtime/Prefs? Hmmmm.... That answers that... Kuroyume
