I'm more of a tough sell here. I am a staunch Lynda admirer from the old school. You're on the right track, but she isn't quite done yet to be sure. The profile shots are great so I think it has something to do with the width of the head and the closeness of the eyes etc. could you post your reference pic? -Darth_Logice
I agree with all the comments here. I'll get working on it! This was the result of about a day's work. I always like to get a result of some kind in a day, then work on refinements. I'll mail the reference pic to Darth. No-one said her hair is a mess! Couldn't find the right hair - may have to make some. Allerleirauh's right, the only way you can make this face-prop move is to create a morph from the original model.
I really don't think you'll ever get Carter's image with a texture. Most people are a product of facial structure etc. For example, Eric Stanton used to do a pretty good Linda Carter/Blunder Broad and his work was simple BW line art and pencil with little shading. Its the cheek bones, jaw, eye sockets, mouth width etc.. that make her up, not the texture. Nice R&D though.
Ricardo...here's the obvious question... Have you tried tossing this face map onto the wonder woman texture by I believe Mason? I think Mason's figure has the essential face-shape down well enough that a wonderful tex-ready pic like this should really do the trick. English bad...time late...grammer failing...sleep imminent. -Darth
Mason is right when he says that the shape is important, but no-one has yet succeeded in making the shape close enough to even make a character recognisable without strong cues (like a uniform). The tex just makes up for what the modelling lacks, which is usually a lot. If I tried to use my source photo with the other texture, as Darth suggests, I think it would come out the same because the Poser head dominates. However, if I used Mason's head model, which is much better than mine, tweaked it a liitle to exactly match the photo - we'd really be getting somewhere.
