Attached Link: Here is an example of the objects I want to export

Hey all, I'm doing some research in natural game environments and I need some help. I'm doing all the 3D modeling for the game, but I'm still fairly new at it. We're using 3D Game Studio for the actual game work. It will import from 3DS-Max. The problem is, all my work was done in Bryce. I've been able to export landscapes (mountains and such), but I can't seem to export any trees. Bryce won't let me export it to a VRML or *.3DS format. Is there a way to import ALL my work into 3DS-Max? Is there a plugin that does such a thing. Oh yeah, I'm using Maz4.2 and Bryce5 (if it matters at all). Thanks!

Bryce doesn't export trees, primitives, booleans, etc. Only terrains, lattices and stones as well as models imported from other programs as long as you don't add the unexportable objects to it.

so, are there any plugins for MAX that support *.br5 files ?

No plug-ins, no file converters, nothing is available that can change obp ( bryce file type ) to another format.

so i suppose i'm just out of luck....

Aye, although I heard that a new version of PolyTrans will be able to do convert .br5 files, but Lord Foo, PolyTrans costs MORE than Bryce, and as far as gaming goes Bryce is only good for making textures. Limits suck, and even worse is proprietary architecture. Good luck redoing your scene in Max!

I have the 3D Game Studio and am familiar with it. Good product. The short of it is that your screwed on your bryce models. If there are any third party utilities out there that can convert a Bryce obp or br5 then I don't know about them. You might want to just remake your models consider something like Hammer or WorldCraft to arrange them in the mapping. Go to Half Life or CounterStrike sites and you'll find Hammer, though I'm sure you already know this. Besides, you probably want a low poly modeler to make the models. For cheap you can get MilkShape 3d or you can use the modeler that comes with your studio.

I think i'm going to try and model them in 3DS-Max. Are there any plugins for Max that automate the tree generation process? I'm looking to make some test renders quickly.
