You're right about 3D Exploration bonestructure. I've been using it since it was mentioned on the forum before a loooong time ago. It really is a great program and when the maker can get it to read Bryce obps, mats etc I will be in seventh heaven. Until then I just save a very small rendered imaged of these files so that I can atleast view them and know what they look like in 3D Explorer:). Regards Eshal

it will list all the files in any particular directory, but you have to go through the list and render and save the bitmap or jpeg of each model individually. It takes a while but it's worth it. I have my files broken into subfiles like animals, characters, buildings, architectural, props, etc., but even then I needed a pictorial reference file so that I would know which models I was looking for, and this prog let me do that. It generates something like 150 by 150 thumbnails. The only caveat I have is that it doesn't always render obj files correctly, and sometimes not at all, and doesn't always pick up on textures, but all in all it was competent enough to accomplish what I needed it to do.

I was looking for a way to keep track of the hundreds of models I have, and found this 3D Exploration program. It views and renders the models (though not all of them and some aren't accurate) and lets you save a small bmp or jpg of them. It's a 30 day demo that costs 40 to register, but hey, it let me make a file library of my model images, which helps me a lot. Check it outTalent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.
