Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 26 2:05 pm)
From reading the manual I believe that simply moving the timeline to the desired frame and making the adjustments to the arm will do exactly what you want. You don't need to tell it to make a key frame. Poser will automatically create the keyframe with just the adjustments that you make to the arm. So I guess the short answer is just to not click the add keyframe button. Brian
Thanks a lot, but how about the camara, when im adjusting a sequence and view from different positions during making the sequence i also get a keyframe for each camara position and cant just play the animation without the camara moving to each position where it has been during the adjusting. Is there a way to exclude the camara? Chiropraktiker
The best approach to the camera is to use two of them. You can only render from one camera but you can use the various cameras while you work. I suggest you use the main camera for viewing and poing the world as you create your poses. When you're done, rewind and switch to the Dolly Cam. The Dolly Cam works more like a real camera than the main camera for moving about the scene. Move to the frames you want and then move the dolly cam where you want it. Another good trick is to place camera key frames and go to the edit key frames pane for the camera and set sections to "Constant" this will allow you to make the camera jump from one position to another entirely different place, giving the illusion of multiple cameras being used (like in tv and film)

Hallo, could somebody please tell me; is there any possibility to exclude objects from receiving keyframes? For example if i want to animate just an arm-movement and press the add keyframe button every object recieves a keyframe and i have do delete the unused keys manualy. Is there a possibility to say which object should get a key and which not? Chiropraktiker
