Ditto. I was just thinking this morning that I might be sorry I bought it, there isn't a whole lot out there. Also, does anyone know of any "active" forums.

I have a few, but they're not quite done. I'll try to get them finished this weekend. I've been doing a bunch of things lately.

deep paint itself actually comes with a wonderful set of tutorials, and more can be found at the right hemisphere website. I believe Syyd uses deep paint, you might try her website or runtimedna also. www.3dbuzz.com has one or two, but they arent all that great. You can find all sorts of other tutorials there though that might prove useful. fortunately, the basis of deep paint or really simple to figure out and use, its getting down into all the special features of the program that take some work. Im sure you will have no problem slipping right into it. I dont know of any "active" forums, but you could always try the texturing forums, there are a few of us there who use deep paint and could probably answer a few questions. Righthemisphere has its own forms for all of its software, but they arent really populated ..

i went to their site, today...but, was quite busy, and did not get a chance to check their forums. i think i will d/ld their demo, just to get a feel of it. thanks, darkphoenix..will remember the "buzz" :*)

I've been on the verge of getting that. The demo seems to merely be a high end version of uvmapper but I'm told you can paint in 3d view directly on the model and zoom/rotate, etc. I do want a painter so I'd love to hear some feedback on how well it works and how you like it.

The gods have heard my prayers, smacked me upside the head, and showed me how easy Deep Paint can be!!!

Here's 5 minutes worth of work, from the begining template imported into Deep Paint through the render in Poser. (2 of those minutes were spent choosing easy to see patterns. You're not going to see it for sale anytime soon cause it's ugly, but you can see how nicely the patterns are kept.)

If you're not impressed, here's the template map needed to achieve the effect ... Again, it took 5 minutes in Deep Paint 3D to do this!

I'll try to have all this documented by the end of this weekend.

Okay, I've got some Deep Paint tutorials up, especially on Projection Mode. I have one that I still need to finish, but this should get people started. If anything is unclear or wrong, please let me know. I'm trying to get these tutorials to be easy to use. If anyone knows some tricks for Deep Paint 3D, please let me know. I'll be glad to put up some step-by-step instructions if people can point me in the right direction. Hope these help!

on a side note, never merge all your materials together if you are using a millenium figure. you can merge the head and body pieces if you like, but if you merge them all your map will not work right.
